Posing Like a Pro!

Full transparency…these last few weeks I have been wracking my brain on how I can get you consistent poses on a week to week basis and I feel like I have been falling short….then I stumbled across a project I started in 2024 that feels PERFECT!
I want to make sure we are keeping body liberation through the lens of boudoir top priority, so what better way to honor that than through pro-level posing tutorials!
I think it’s incredibly important that you keep pushing the boundaries on what you are willing to try, and I want to be that source for you. So going forward, for the foreseeable future, we will be doing Posing Like a Pro Fridays! Each Friday I’ll drop a quick little video and tutorial into your inbox and encourage you to get in front of your lens over the weekend!
This will be a many part series, broken down into bite size chunks, scattered throughout the remainder of the year. The poses cover a wide range of sets from the bed, to the floor, the bathroom and kitchen, standing, sitting and so much more. We even have some couples content that will be sprinkled in over the weeks! The same format as Naughty November will be used with a behind the scenes video, a step by step guide, the layout for your camera/light/subject and example images!
Fun fact, it’s called Posing Like a Pro because I use the same terminology and techniques when I mentor other boudoir photographers! No matter if you are here for fun, feeling better in your skin or as a pro looking for posing ideas for your own clients, you will get something from this series!
The only thing that will differ from Naughty November is that I am working with models, so you will be able to see my thought process, the verbal cues I use and what the end product looks like! The quality of image will depend on the camera that you are using, but the same basic principles apply!
